The performance of both container feeder vessels and offshore service vessels was excellent in 2022. JR Shipping took structural steps to realise sustainable sailing and opened the door for the next generation of container feeder vessels with its ECO Feeder programme. This is borne out by the JR Shipping Report 2022 that has just been published.
JR Shipping has signed with Value Maritime, the emission-reducing tech entrepreneurs, to retrofit another six vessels with their exhaust cleaning Filtree and carbon capture system, making almost their entire fleet sustainable for the future.

JR Shipping is pleased with the appointment of Arnoud van den Bos as Head Crewing Department with effect from 1 April. He puts aside his captain’s cap to organize the occupation of JR Shipping and SeaZip vessels from ashore. As of 1 April 2022, Robert-Jean Dupuis will be the new Director Ship Management of the JR Shipping Group. He succeeds Harm Mulder, who has given shape and content to this key function for more than 16 years.
