MV Bermuda Islander 340 TEU Conofeeder

MV Bermuda Islander is a Conofeeder 340 built by Scheepswerf Bijlsma Lemmer in 2001. Originally named Externo, she has been associated with the JR Shipping fleet since that year.

On 22 January 2015, the vessel was transferred to BISL, which had already chartered her for an extended period. JR Shipping continued to provide ship management following the transfer.

Bermuda Islander has a container capacity of 340 TEU and an overall length of 99.98 metres. Her main engine is a 2,999 kW Wärtsilä, with a listed service speed of 15 knots. The 2026 JR Shipping annual report lists Ice Class 1A.
