SeaZip 6 is a 24 passenger crew transfer vessel in the Damen FCS 2610 series. Built in 2016, she was converted from 12 to 24 passenger capacity during the winter break of 2022.
At 26.30 metres overall, SeaZip 6 combines a catamaran platform with Damen’s Sea Axe hull form. Her two Caterpillar C32 engines are rated at 895 kW each, and the vessel has a listed service speed of 25 knots.
SeaZip 6 operates under Bureau Veritas class and sails under the Dutch flag. She is used for the transport of offshore industrial personnel and light cargo. Other possible applications include hydrographic survey and diving support.
The larger passenger capacity supports both maintenance teams and assignments involving more technicians. Technical discussions can establish the project’s passenger and cargo requirements, the required equipment and the vessel’s current availability.
SeaZip Offshore Service’s management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015. JR Shipping lists ISM and MLC2006 certification for the vessel. The technical team can supply the relevant documentation for the assignment.
SeaZip 6’s sustainability context is offshore personnel and light cargo transport. JR Shipping’s environmental policy applies to daily fleet operations, alongside the applicable laws and regulations. The group continues to explore opportunities to lower emissions; enquiries about this vessel can include the operating requirements of the proposed offshore assignment.
